Schedule live shows and get discovered
How to announce upcoming live shows with the calendar, who gets the reminder, and every way the site shows you to people looking for new faces.

Performers who always broadcast at the same time teach their fans when to find them. Those who announce their shows in advance do even better: people get a reminder shortly before and arrive on time. Here’s how to use the live show calendar, who gets notified, and every place on the site where you appear.
Scheduling a live show
Open the Live studio and choose the Schedule tab. The calendar can be viewed by Month or Week.
- Press Schedule, or Schedule here on a day in the calendar.
- Write the Broadcast title, for example “Games and chat night”: it appears on the card in Upcoming Lives.
- Choose the Date and time.
- Choose the Repeat: Just once, Every day or Every week, always at the same time as the first.
- Add the Broadcast tags: they appear among the Live page categories even before you go on air.
- Press Schedule the broadcast.
Times follow the time zone in your settings, and viewers see them in their own.
Cancelling
Open the show in the calendar and press Cancel this broadcast: people who had marked it lose their reminder. For a recurring show you can cancel the whole series.
Where a scheduled show appears
- In the Upcoming Lives strip on the Live cam page, with a countdown.
- In the featured strip at the top of the live shows page, when it’s about to start.
- On your profile, under Upcoming live shows, in week or list view.
- Among the categories on the Live page, with the tags you chose.
Who gets notified
- Your followers get an alert shortly before the show starts.
- People who turned on the reminder for that show get it even if they don’t follow you.
- People who pressed “Notify me when they go live” on your profile are notified when you turn on your camera.
Alerts arrive on the site, as a push notification or by email, depending on each person’s preferences.

All this applies if your profile is Public. With a Private profile you don’t appear in the grids: only people who know your username find you.
A routine that brings an audience
- Pick two or three fixed slots a week and schedule them as recurring.
- Update your profile Status with your next appointment.
- Publish a For everyone post on the day of the show: it brings new people to your profile.
- Use specific, consistent tags across profile, posts and live shows.
- Make the most of your first weeks: the New mark lasts 30 days, and it’s when the most people discover you.
