Earnings and commissions
How much you keep from every token, how your share rises with monthly sales, what the reconciliation is and how to read the Earnings page, tab by tab.
In this article
On Sweetly the numbers are easy to read. One token is always worth €0.10, both when a viewer buys it and when you earn it. The percentage you see is what you keep, and it rises with your monthly sales. Signing up and staying costs nothing: Sweetly only takes a commission on what you earn.
How much you keep from every token
| Monthly sales | Share you keep |
|---|---|
| From the first token | 70% |
| From 50,000 tokens (about €5,000) | 75% |
| From 150,000 tokens (about €15,000) | 80% |
| Tips, always | 80% |
Your share is calculated on your monthly sales: the more you sell, the higher the percentage you keep on everything. On tips you always keep 80%, from the very first token.
For example, with a 70% share, on 1,000 tokens earned — that’s €100 in sales — you keep €70. The euro value shown next to tokens on the Earnings page is an indicative estimate: the exact amount is calculated when you request a payout.
The end-of-month reconciliation
During the month each sale is credited at the percentage of the tier reached up to that point. If during the month you move up a tier, at the end of the period every sale of the month is recalculated at the new percentage, and the difference is credited to you as a Reconciliation. In practice: reaching the top tier on the 28th counts as if you’d reached it on the 1st.
On the Earnings page, under Reconciliation, you see what you’d be owed if the period closed now.
Personal agreements and promotions
Some performers have a different percentage: a personal agreement with Sweetly, or a promotion for people who joined in a certain period. If that applies to you, the Earnings page and the Fan Club simulator say so explicitly, with the end date, if there is one.
The Earnings page
Open Earnings from the menu. At the top choose the range: 7, 30 or 90 days, or Current, meaning since the start of the current commission period. All the figures update with your choice.
Current period
The boxes at the top sum up the month: Total earnings, Earnings from content, Earnings from live shows, Earnings from Fan Club and Reconciliation. They’re already net of the platform commission.
The four tabs
| Tab | What you’ll find |
|---|---|
| Statistics | Unique visitors, profile visits, content views, unlocked content, conversion, new followers, messages received, tips, earnings by source and charts over time |
| Content | Views, tips, conversion and earnings for each post; your top supporters; every content transaction |
| Live | Minutes live, earnings, earnings per hour, paid time, users and peak, private sessions and how many requests became sessions; the history of privates and groups |
| Fan Club | Your Fans and how much you’ve earned from each |
The Live and Fan Club tabs turn on once you’ve enabled live shows or at least one Fan Club level.
What the key numbers mean
- Conversion — the percentage of people who viewed content and then unlocked it. If it’s low, try more inviting previews or clearer titles.
- Earnings per hour — how much you earn on average for each hour live, counting only time actually broadcast.
- Paid time — how much of the show someone was paying for, in private or group.
- Requests turned into sessions — how many private requests you turned into sessions.
The period’s top supporters show each user’s total spending with you, not your net.
Statistics as your home page
Turn on Use Statistics as your home page: after signing in you land straight here instead of the site’s home page.
When earnings are reversed
If a user is refunded, or disputes a payment with their bank (chargeback), the earnings from that payment are removed from your balance. In your transactions you’ll see them as Refunds or Staff adjustments.
Taxes
Your Sweetly earnings must be declared according to the rules of your country of residence: Sweetly isn’t your employer or your tax withholding agent. To find out how to declare them, speak to a tax adviser.
From balance to bank
When your withdrawable tokens reach the minimum threshold you can request payment to your bank account, PayPal, Paxum or in stablecoins. The whole process is in Request a payout.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Sweetly take?
You keep a share from 70% to 80% of every token, depending on your monthly sales, and 80% of tips. There are no sign-up costs or fixed fees.
How much is a token worth to a performer?
One token is worth €0.10, exactly as it is for the buyer. The percentage you keep applies to that value.
What is the reconciliation?
If you move up a tier during the month, at the end of the period every sale of the month is recalculated at the new percentage, and the difference is credited to you.
Why is the euro value on the Earnings page only indicative?
Because it’s a reading conversion. The exact amount, with any payout method fees, is calculated when you request a payout.
Do I have to pay tax on my earnings?
Yes, according to the rules of your country of residence. Sweetly doesn’t withhold taxes on your behalf: speak to a tax adviser.
