Your Sweetly account holds your tokens, your subscriptions and your conversations: it’s worth protecting well. Here’s how to change your password, spot scam attempts, download a copy of your data and close your account if you decide to leave.

Changing your password

  1. Open Settings and choose the Security tab.
  2. Enter your Current password, then the New password twice.
  3. Press Update password.

The new password must have at least 8 characters, with a capital letter, a number and a symbol, and it must be different from the current one.

As soon as you change it, we sign you out of every device, including the one you’re using, and tell you how many sessions we closed. Sign back in with the new password. It’s intentional: if someone knew the old one, from that moment they’re out.

If you don’t remember your current password, you don’t need to change it from here: use Forgot your password?, as explained in I can’t sign in.

Protecting your account

  • A password just for Sweetly. If you also use it elsewhere, a data leak on another site is enough to expose this account too.
  • Nobody on the team will ever ask for your password, not by email, in chat or in a ticket. Whoever does isn’t Sweetly.
  • Check the address. Only sign in at sweetly.net. Be wary of links in messages promising free tokens or threatening to close your account.
  • Payments only inside Sweetly. A request to pay outside the platform — bank transfers, gift cards, crypto to a private address — is always a scam or a rule violation. Report it.
  • On shared devices, don’t tick Remember me on this device, and sign out when you’re done.

If you think someone got into your account, change your password right away — that closes all sessions — and write to support describing what you noticed.

Your account data

Your details are on the Account page. Email and username can’t be changed there: the username is your profile address, and the email is the key to your sign-in. If you need to change them for a good reason, write to support.

Downloading a copy of your data

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you at any time.

  1. Open the Privacy page: at the top you’ll find Your privacy settings.
  2. Under Download your data, press Download.

You’ll get a file with your profile, wallet history, subscriptions, messages and support requests. From the same page you also manage promotional emails and cookie preferences.

Closing your account

Closing your account is a decision you make yourself, without having to ask anyone.

  1. Open the Privacy page and look for Close your account.
  2. Press Close account and read what happens.
  3. Press Continue and confirm with your password.

What happens when you close it

  • You’re signed out of every device, and access is blocked straight away.
  • Your data is kept for 30 days. During that time, if you change your mind, support can reopen the account.
  • After 30 days the data is permanently deleted, except what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records for tax and accounting obligations.

Before closing

  • Cancel your Fan Clubs. If you have an active Fan Club, closing won’t go through: cancel it first from the Fan Club page. Read Join a Fan Club, change level and cancel.
  • Use the tokens you have. Tokens left on your balance aren’t converted into money. The exception is your last purchase if you haven’t spent any of it, refundable within 14 days: request it before closing.
  • If you’re a performer, request a payout of your balance and wait until it shows Paid. Requests already in progress are completed anyway.

Frequently asked questions

Why am I signed out everywhere after changing my password?

Because we close all open sessions, including the one you’re using. It’s the protection that keeps out anyone who knew the old password.

Can I change the email I sign in with?

Not directly on the site. Write to support from the Support area with the new address: we update it after checking the account is yours.

Does closing the account delete everything straight away?

No. Access is blocked immediately, but the data stays for 30 days so you can reconsider. After that it’s deleted, except what we must keep by law.

Can I reopen a closed account?

Yes, within 30 days of closing it: write to support from the account’s email address.

Do you refund my tokens if I close my account?

Not tokens that were spent or credited a while ago. Your last purchase is refundable within 14 days if you haven’t spent any of it. If we close the account for a reason other than a rule violation, we refund the remaining tokens.
