Legal, privacy and cookies
A map of Sweetly’s legal documents: what each one says in short, how to manage cookies and how to exercise your rights over your personal data.
In this article
Sweetly’s legal documents can be reached from every page, in the Legal notices column of the footer. Here’s a map: what each one says in short and when you need it. The summary helps you find your way, but the full text of each document is what counts.
Who we are

Cookies
On your first visit we ask which cookies to accept. You can choose Accept all, Reject non-essential or Customize. There are four categories:
- Necessary — your sign-in session, age confirmation and the memory of your consent. They’re always on: without them Sweetly doesn’t work.
- Functional — they remember your language and theme, so you don’t set them again on every visit.
- Analytics — they help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Advertising — they measure how well promotional campaigns work, including on other sites.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie preferences in the footer, or from the Privacy page of your account.
Your data rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict its processing, object and receive a copy. Two of these you can exercise yourself, from the Privacy page:
- Download your data gives you a copy of your profile, wallet history, subscriptions, messages and support requests;
- Close your account starts the closure, with 30 days to reconsider. See Password, personal data and closing your account.
For all other rights, write to support. Payment data is kept for the time required by tax and accounting rules, usually no less than six years, even after the account is closed.
Discreet billing
Charges on your statement may appear with a discreet description that doesn’t name Sweetly or any performer. It protects your privacy: if you don’t recognise a charge, first check the history on the Tokens page.
Frequently asked questions

The Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
