How to change the language of the site and emails, the light or dark theme, the currency you read prices in, your time zone and the time format.

Sweetly adapts to you: you can choose the language, the light or dark theme, the currency you read prices in, your time zone and the time format. All these preferences are in Settings › General, on the Settings page.

Language

Sweetly is available in Italian, English and Spanish. You can change the language in two ways:

  • from the language selector on the site, even without an account;
  • from Settings › General › Site language, if you have an account.

The choice made in settings also applies to the emails we send you: confirmations, notices and support replies arrive in the language you chose.

Changing language also changes page addresses (for example /it/scopri becomes /en/discover): that’s normal, and links you’ve saved keep working. The guides in this help center are written in all three languages too.

Light or dark theme

You change the theme with the sun and moon icon, or from Settings › General › Theme. The change applies immediately and is saved on that device: you can keep the dark theme on your phone and the light one on your computer.

Preferred currency

In Preferred currency you choose which currency to see token equivalents in, for example euros or dollars. It’s a display-only preference: your balance, content prices and rates always stay in tokens, and one token is always worth €0.10. If you leave The site's, you see the platform’s default currency.

Token packages on the Tokens page are shown in the currency you can pay in, with the final price already written: what you see is what you pay.

Time zone and time format

Every time on the site — the start of scheduled live shows, payment history, messages — follows the Time zone you set. It’s usually best to keep Use this device's, which adapts on its own when you travel.

With 24-hour time format you read “14:00”; turning it off you read “2:00 PM”.

Accessibility

We built Sweetly so it can be used without a mouse and with a screen reader.

  • Every page has a Skip to main content link, which appears when you press Tab.
  • Every control can be reached with the keyboard; windows close with Esc.
  • Icon-only buttons have a name screen readers can read, the same one shown in the tooltip on hover.
  • Alternative text is mandatory on advertising images.
  • You can enlarge pages with the browser zoom without losing content.

If you find a part of the site you can’t use, tell us which one and with what tool: open a ticket. We treat accessibility reports as bugs to fix.

Frequently asked questions

How do I switch Sweetly to English or Spanish?

Use the language selector on the site, or Settings › General › Site language. With the second option, emails also arrive in the new language.

If I change currency, do I pay in that currency?

No. The preferred currency only changes how you read the equivalents. Your balance and prices stay in tokens; you see the payment currency when you buy a package.

Does the dark theme apply to all my devices?

No, it’s saved on the device where you choose it. That way you can use different themes on your phone and computer.

Are live show times in my time zone?

Yes, all times follow the time zone set in your settings, or your device’s if you keep the automatic option.
