Watch live shows, group shows and private sessions

Sweetly live shows have three rooms: the public room, free, where the performer introduces herself and talks to everyone; the group show, paid and with several people together; and the private session, paid, just you and her. You watch everything in the browser, on computer or phone.

Finding who’s live

Open Live cam from the main menu.

• At the top choose the audience: Women, Trans, Men or Couples.
• The featured strip scrolls through live shows in progress and those about to start.
• Each card is a person who’s live, with a preview that updates on its own; whoever turns on their camera appears without reloading the page.
• The Most popular, New performers and In private filters narrow down the list.
• Categories are the most used tags: press one to see only those shows, press it again to remove it.
• In Upcoming Lives you’ll find announced shows, with a countdown and a reminder button.

The mark on the card tells you where the performer is: LIVE if she’s in the public room, Private if she’s in a private session, Group if she’s in a group show.

The public room

The public room is always free: it’s the performer’s shop window. Press the card, or Join the show from her profile, and you’re in.

The performer decides who can watch:

• All, even without an account;
• Users only, meaning people with an account: you’ll read Sign in to watch the live show;
• Fans only: you’ll read This live show is for Fans only.

What you can do in the room

• Chat. You need an account. You can reply to a line, mention someone and use emoji, including Sweetly’s hearts. At the top you’ll find the room rules, if the performer has written some.
• Send a tip with the Tip button: choose a quick amount — 10, 20, 50, 100 or 500 tokens — or type your own, and add a message only she reads if you like. The chat shows “sent a tip of…”.
• Follow the goal. If the performer has set a goal, the bar shows how many tokens are missing and fills up with the room’s tips.
• See who’s there. The Users tab lists who’s watching.

The sound starts muted, as on every site: press the audio icon to hear it. From the player you can switch to Full screen; picture quality adapts to your connection on its own.

The group show

In a group show several people watch the same performance together, paying per minute at the rate chosen by the performer, between 10 and 50 tokens a minute. Places are limited: the performer decides how many paying users can join.

Here too she chooses who gets in: All, Tokens only (those who pay) or Fans only. Some Fan Clubs include access to a reserved group room. If a performer is in a group show, her profile says She's in a group live show: you join from the live shows page.

The private session

A private session is a show just for you, at a per-minute rate chosen by the performer, between 25 and 100 tokens a minute. You see it next to the Private button, for example “60 tokens/min”. If you read doesn't offer private calls, that performer hasn’t turned them on.

How to request one

1. In the live show, press Private.
2. Read the Request a private window: price per minute and rules.
3. Press Request the private. A countdown starts, Waiting.
4. The performer accepts or declines. If she accepts, you enter the session; if she doesn’t reply in time, you’ll read The request expired.

You can cancel the request while you wait, with Cancel the request. You can only have one pending request at a time, across the whole site.

What you need

To start you need at least one minute of balance at the performer’s rate. Tokens are deducted every minute, until you or she ends the session.

During the session

• You see the Time left, meaning how many minutes your balance allows, and how much you’ve Spent so far.
• When your credit is about to run out, a notice appears: the session ends on its own when it reaches zero. You can’t go negative.
• End it whenever you like with End.

Camera and microphone

In a private session the performer can offer to turn on your camera or your microphone. They never switch on by themselves: you get the offer — The performer opened your camera — and you decide with Turn on the camera or Not now. Nobody sees or hears you until you turn them on, and you can turn them off whenever you like. The first time, your browser asks for permission to use them.

While the performer is in private

When a performer goes private with someone, her public room pauses and you’ll read She's in a private session: the live show resumes on its own when it ends, without you having to reload.

If something is interrupted

If a private or group session is cut short by a Sweetly fault, the minutes paid for and not received are returned to you in tokens. If the video won’t start or you can’t hear anything, try the fixes in The live show has no picture or sound.

Frequently asked questions

Does watching a live show cost anything?

The public room is free. Only group shows and private sessions are paid, per minute, at the rates chosen by the performer.

How much does a private session cost?

The performer sets the rate, between 25 and 100 tokens a minute, and it’s shown next to the Private button before you request it.

Can I go into negative balance during a private session?

No. You need at least one minute of balance to start, and the session ends on its own when your credit reaches zero.

Can the performer see me during a private session?

Only if you turn on your camera. She can offer to open it, but you decide; the same goes for the microphone.

Can I request a private session from several performers at once?

No, you can only have one pending request at a time. If you already have one open elsewhere you’ll read You already have a request pending elsewhere.
